CMHC MLI Select
Insured financing for purpose-built rental buildings with 5+ units. Up to 95% loan-to-cost, 50-year amortization, and premium discounts for projects that score on affordability, energy efficiency, and accessibility. I understand the scoring because I’ve designed buildings to meet these criteria.

I’m Jeremy Clarke, a licensed mortgage agent with BRX Mortgage based in the Brighton-Cobourg area of Eastern Ontario. I’m also the founder of Simple Life Group, which includes a construction consultancy, an apparel brand, and now a mortgage practice — built around one idea: the people who finance buildings should understand how buildings actually work.
I spent nearly a decade building and operating a high-performance prefab manufacturing company from the ground up. That experience taught me more about construction financing than any course ever could, because I lived the pain points that builders and developers face every day when trying to get their projects funded.
